Cropmania

What time can I arrive?                                  Please plan on arriving at the start time.  The hotels we use are usually in the process of setting up our crop room prior to the start time since the room was just occupied by a prior event.

Will there be make and takes and classes?
Absolutely!  Each scrapbook consultant has been asked to provide free make and takes for our Saturday morning agenda.   We will also be holding classes provided by an independent instructor for a small fee which will be paid directly to them at the crop.

Will there be food and beverages?                 We will provide wonderful buffet meals prepared by the hotel....check the "Retreats" page for our meal menus.  We will also have snacks and water stations but feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.l

Will there be a tool table and Cricuts?
Absolutely.  We have a wide variety of tools that will be available at our tool and idea table including 4 cricut machines and cartridges....all you need is provide your own mat.  We will also have an extensive sizzix die cut collenction, 2 sizzix machines and a Big Shot.

When does the crop room close?
For our weekend events we close the room for 4 hours from 3am to 7am so the hostesses can get a "little nap".  The crop room will be locked by one of the Cropmania hostesses with help from the front desk and reopened again at 7am by one of the hostesses.  

Can I leave my stuff on the table?
Sure!  Please use your own discretion regarding what you choose to leave on the table overnight.  Cropmania is not responsible for the items you leave but there will be a Cropmania hostess on site until the room is locked for the night.  And there will be a hostess unlocking the doors the following day to ensure no one enters the room without a Cropmania representative monitoring the room.

Can I sit with my friends?
Absolutely.  When you register, please list the persons you would like to sit with that are also attending the crop.

Can I come just to shop or see what the crop is like?
Yes and come see what our events are like. Also, please do not bring any young children since this is a "getaway" atmosphere.  Please try to stay no longer than an hour since you did not pay for this event.

How do I get there?
Our "Retreats" page provides the address to the hotel.  Feel free to mapquest it for the best directions from your starting point.

What is your cancellation policy?
For the Yard Sale:                                           If you are unable to attend, please let us know ASAP and if we can fill your spot, we will send you a refund OR you can sell your space to a scrapbook friend.  NO SHOWS receive NO REFUND.

For Crops:                                                     If you cancel at least 30 days before the event, you will get a full refund minus a $10 processing fee.  If you cancel 15-29 days before the event, you will receive a full refund minus a $35 processing fee.  If you cancel less than 15 days before the event, no refunds or credits will be given.  BUT***In the event we can fill your spot with someone on our waitlist,
we will give you a full refund minus a $10 processing fee*****                                       NO SHOWS receive NO REFUND.

What happens if there is bad weather?
Please contact the Hotel (phone # listed on their website which can be found on the "Retreats" page) the day of the event to see if it will be hosted.  Otherwise the Hotel will allow us to reschedule at a later date.

Is there a minimum age requirement to attend?
Yes, we request that you must be at least 15 years of age to attend.

What happens if my check bounces?
You are responsible for any bank fees that Cropmania LLC incurs.

Cropping Tips:

What should I wear?
Dress in layers!!!!!  The temperature in the ballroom will be set at 70 degrees but may fluctuate depending on the time of year.  And don't forget to pack those comfy pajamas and slippers for scrapping late into the night.

What should I bring?
Pack your scrapbooking supplies that you plan on using but don't carry those big tools.  We will have 5 cricut machines, catridiges, sizzix machines, a Big Shot and a large collection of die cuts for the sizzix. 

What can I drink?
You can drink anything that has a closed top. No open containers please; we would hate for you to ruin one of your creations by a spilled drink.  

Will there be music?
Yes.  We will be playing our Cropmania play list of music via an ipod player over speakers built into the ballroom.  PLEASE feel free to donate your ipod, we will gladly play it.
